The other supervisor at work came down with a flu bug so I told her I would cover her shift tonight…meaning I’m working from 6am-745pm with a little break in the middle… I don’t mind though… it’s always nice to be able to help someone out.
Snow & Monday Morning.
Holy snow! It sure is coming down…and I love it! It’s supposedly going to snow through tomorrow. Here’s to spending the next few days cuddled up and reading…and perhaps an Irish coffee or two…

I started the new job today…andddd itssss awesomeeeeee! So so happy.
All I can think about...
is getting a dog. I swear it consumes at least 50 percent of my thoughts. Dustin isn’t keen on the idea…but boy-o-boy what I would give for one. I get so lonely in Denver sometimes…a pup would be the perfect company. And with my promotion, I will finally have a little extra monaymonay to spoil the little guy! wantwantWANT!

I got the promotion guys! I’m transferring to a different starbucks as a supervisor. The best part? It’s in a bank…meaning i have weekends off and i never have to work earlier than 6 or stay later than 8! Now that’s whatimatalkinbout! Not to mention the raise. And my new boss is fantastic! Such a sweet woman!

going in to make use of the gift card my mom gave me for a massage…one hour of complete relaxation…ahhhhh.
The word on the street is that a promotion may be coming my way…keep your fingers crossed for me guys!
Life is Good.
I had work this morning. And now the rest of my day will be filled with the following:
-Reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
-Cleaning my slightly messy apartment.
-Seeing a movie with some of my favorite ladies from work.
Ali is doing my hair today…thank goodness! I am in need.
These are a few of my favorite things:
Naps.
Showers before bed.
Black coffee with whipped cream on top.
A genuine smile from a stranger.
Asian food…of all sorts.
Sending ’thank you’ cards.
Music…the kind that soothes the soul.
Whatching the snow fall…from a window, while warm inside :)
Hikes.
Dogs…all of them.
Drawing.
Brushing my teeth.
Family time.
Reading.
Scrabble.
Falling asleep...
I was hacked last night…and the words he wrote facetiously don’t even compare to how wonderful he really is. I love you Dustin…you amaze me every day.
